Terry Goodkind's masterpiece is a must for any lover of heroic fantasy. The Legend of the Seeker series starring Bridget Regan (Kahlan Amnell)  and Tabrett Bethell (Cara) is awesome although in my opinion you enjoy it even more if you've read at least 'The Sword of Truth' first.
