As most know, we don't normally review DVD releases. Well maybe as a New Year's resolution, I'll start doing more. What prompted this new attitude you ask? Well, I just watched the straight to video movie 'Carriers' and as with most DVD releases…

Each time I've watched J.J. Abrams' Star Trek I've wondered why the hell it took Nero all that time, from the death of Kirk's dad to Kirk being old enough to become a Starfleet officer, to show himself again. The answer seems to be that Nero was actually captured by the Klingons and imprisoned the whole time.

Following is a deleted scene from the upcoming Star Trek DVD and Star Trek Blu-ray release that was premiered on Spike TV at…

At last, Zoe Saldana finally wins an award! She's been nominated for so many awards over the last few years that she hasn't won it's ridiculous, and after recently being beaten by Megan Fox for 'Best Sci Fi Actress' at the Spike TV Scream Awards 2009, it looked like a trend that might continue.

Spike TV's 2009 Scream Awards played out on Saturday, October 17, honoring achievements in science fiction, fantasy and horror. These are awesome awards that make a mockery of both the Oscar's and the Emmy's, so good job Spike TV!

The big wins this year go to J.J. Abrams' Star Trek, followed by Transformers:…
