The first episode of the new steampunk sci-fi web series Riese has been released.

The series takes place in a future where the world is screwed and more or less dominated by a religious fundamentalist group calling themselves the Sect.  It follows a girl by the name of Riese (played by Christine Chatelain) who wanders the barren land with her sidekick, a wolf named Fenrir (played by a German Shephard?).  Branded a heretic, she must evade capture by the Sect as she  attempts to piece together her past, one that may hold the key to the fate of the world.
