Can Dexter Get Gellar?

Dexter finally placed its main character in the center of the DDK action this week, airing an episode that concluded with Dexter teaming up with Travis in order to track down Gellar... and with a major question lingering over the series:

Does Gellar even exist?

It's growing more and more likely that this professor is merely Travis' warped version of Harry, a Dark Passenger along for the Apocalyptic ride. I've already made my feelings on this lame possibility…
