War of Words Between Michael Bay and Megan Fox May End in Blood
Posted by Monkey 1 in: All News,MoviesThe war of words between Transformers director Michael Bay and Transformers star Megan Fox has been going on for months (or is that years?). There's been some pretty unkind things said on both sides (which I really don't need to repeat) and although both Bay and Fox have at times attempted to play down the seriousness of their public attacks, the latest news certainly hints that it might not end well. At least, not for Fox.
If Digital Spy is to be believed, Michael Bay is considering replacing Megan Fox with a new actress early in Transformers 3, and he intends to do it by having her killed in a bloody, gory fashion.
Before Transformers and Fox fans start crying, this is, for now, just a rumor. In fact, Digital Spy's insider himself (herself?) sheds a little doubt on the possibility.
"Michael’s pretty much discovered Megan and now he’s very quietly looking for her replacement," the Insider apparently said. "He hasn’t decided if he’s going to kill her off in the next movie, but he just wants to be prepared."
I have my doubts about this given that Fox is, to my mind, a major drawcard for Transformers. She's no doubt under contract for the third film and I'm wondering just how keen DreamWorks really would be to lose her.
At this point I find myself wondering, now if only Bay would take on the role of actor and have himself killed early on in Transformers 3 in a bloody, gory fashion. I skipped Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen after having failed to recover from my initial Transformers pain, but if Bay would do to himself what insiders suggest he wants to do to Fox, then I'll buy my ticket in advance. But would I buy tickets to see Fox killed off in the film? Nup.
Transformers 3 is currently in development and will hit screens July 1, 2011.
