‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ Soundtrack Snares No.1 Spot on the Billboard Top 200

The Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack has followed in the footsteps of the Twilight soundtrack to achieve a No.1 ranking on the Billboard Top 200.
Upon release The Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack sold 115,000 copies, but over the course of its second week of release managed to increase that number by 33% (159,000) to snare the no.1 spot.
New Moon is only the second soundtrack to top the Billboard 200 in 2009 (the other was Hannah Montana: The Movie).
Despite the phenomenal success of the song soundtrack, I'm still completely uninterested in it. I'll be holding out for The Twilight Saga: New Moon score by Alexandre Desplat, which is due for release November 24.
