Rhona Mitra cast in Stargate Universe
In another amazing win for the already excellent cast of Stargate Universe, Syfy have added Rhona Mitra.
Mitra, who I absolutely loved in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, has been cast in a key role that will unfold in a 3-episode arc towards the end of Stargate Universe's first season.
She'll be playing Commander Kiva, "a strong-willed commander of an alien incursion force." Syfy also mentioned that her character will be willing to "do whatever it takes to safeguard her people, even if it is at the ultimate expense of the Destiny crew."
Stargate Universe is already my no.1 show, and with Gateworld reporting that Mitra's role is recurring, this is sweet news indeed.

i love stargate. I have a friend at my job that used to be a guard at the real cheyenne mountain base. He would catch morons trying to sneak in to find the stargate continuously. amusing.
