Joss Whedon Explains His Insulting Letter to the Rights Owners of ‘Terminator: “It’s Just Me Being a Dumb-Ass”
Posted by Monkey 1 in: All News,InterviewsFollowing Joss Whedon's insult to the rights owners of the Terminator franchise, EW took the initiative to pick up the telephone to ask him: What the?
His response was a lot of blah blah about how he wasn't slamming Terminator and, amazingly, that he's serious about the $10,000 offer to buy the rights whilst confirming that he's not serious that such an offer will result in anything (no shit Sherlock).
But I can at least agree with him on what his open letter was mostly about:
“But mostly, it’s just me being a dumb-ass, because that seems to be what I do best — I’m not even very good at that. So, no, I do not think they’re going to call me and say ‘Congratulations! We’ll have that $10,000 now.’"
Yep, that's the long and the short of it.

Hopefully he can bring back the Sarah Connor show
