For my money there is no cooler hero in the Marvel Universe right now than Iron Man. I am positively giddy about be able to cheer for Robert Downey Jr. again. Iron Man 2 is arguably the most anticipated sequel for 2010 and I for one CANNOT WAIT. In the meantime, I will have to satisfy myself with every and any image and trailer I can get my hands on.

That said, Empire has an exclusive new image of Tony Stark in the famous red and gold suit as the centerpiece of their January 2010 cover. Too Cool! IM2 features Mickey Rourke as the baddie Whiplash and Scarlet Johansson as the Black Widow. (Please god, don't let Scarlet sing in the Movie).

Iron Man is due for release May 7, 2010.
