Milla Jovovich in 'The Fourth Kind'

Milla Jovovich in 'The Fourth Kind'

A few weeks back I posted an article asking if the purported "true archival footage" in The Fourth Kind movie was fact or fiction. I concluded it was fiction, although without 100% proof of that, it is very difficult to be 100% sure.

In the latest news, apparently an insider who worked on the film has admitted that the footage woven into the film as "real archival footage" was faked with actors.

From io9:

I can assure you it is totally fake. The interviews were shot in High Def on a soundstage with actors and then made to look like bad home video. The college logos and video break-up was added by a visual effects team.

Of course, the identity of the insider remains a mystery, so this quotation alone can't be taken as verification one way or the other. Nonetheless, I find io9 to be quite a reputable website and as such I think it's fairly reasonable to expect that they wouldn't post the above article without at least considering their source, quote, "a production insider," as legit.

One thing is for sure though, and that is The Fourth Kind has certainly generated itself a lot of buzz with its claims of authenticity.

It was real i know for a fact
I went through it and know the facts so get ready and do not let the lies get into the truth. It was scary as hell for me to go through and I have been involved since I was three.
The fact is they are here and have always been here.you who want to think we are alone are little brains and can not do math
They are here and many are vary intent on are harm

    • Your experience may be real, that I can’t comment on, but the footage in The Fourth Kind wasn’t. In fact, the filmmakers have been forced to remove all their fake websites and fake news stories from the internet for misleading the public. So there you go.

Honestly its like this how do they have the footage for the film? but no one else has seen it? it doesnt make sense to me, im not saying that aliens arent real but i want more proof on this subject, because we have the technology to pretty much do anything if we can make cars transform into crazy looking robots, why wouldnt we be able to make footage look old? Honestly i dont wanna believe that this is real and from what i saw its just a little weird that every time the aliens came the camera got all screwed up…..

I don’t understand why in the movie when the sherrif ask about the video recordings both the dr and the cop say it was messed up. But we can clearly see weird things on them. Why couldn’t they see the UFO over the house or the guy Scott clearly hovering on the bed. It doesn’t make sense because you would have kept watching over and over the tape, and if I could see it on this movie then they should have too.

It’s too bad it’s not based on any “facts” we are able to verify. The themes in the movie are EXTREMELY interesting based on available sources, if enough research is done. The Sumerian tie-in has been talked about and written about for years. If one allows himself to follow the trail of some of these subjects, you have the mormon theory of Jesus and Lucifer being brothers, going right back to Set and Osiris- then to Enki and Enlil. There are ties to all of this, but how many people have the most pieces of the puzzle is anyone’s guess. A good place to look is “The Sign of the Dove” by Elizabeth Van Buren, the Denver airport murals, and how they show the whole theme of the “Protocols” in picture form. Check it out. I did.

“The Forth Kind” movie used archival footage which is claimed to be the actual scenes recorded at murder/suicide and regressive therapy sessions. Whether you choose to believe archival footage is genuine or not does not take away the reality of the missing child and eye witness accounts of the incident. Further, there are also sworn witness testimonies of the earlier patients Abbey’s husband had recorded. Abductions do occur. The Sumerian translations of the entity channeled by the patients indicate it was (a)god. Not THE God. No one has disputed the murder/suicide footage. So why should the footage taken by the police officer’s car camera be any less real.

Genuine abduction experiences are so terrifying, its no wonder those who experience such trauma do not want to be scrutinized and possibly putting their careers in peril. There are always people who pop up to claim the incidence never happen but even they have no tangible proof. One thing that intriged me; the abductee’s inability and/or will, to describe the entities.
In the movie, the owl seems to have an initial simblance until the witness realizes it is someting else.
There seems to be some genetic response which is triggered in humans when actually confronted by these alien life forms: unfetterd terror induced madness. The visages seem to be so far outside of normal human mental reference, it accesses the primal memory when such occurences were common. Just a thought.

well I just watched the movie…and I want to know the truth…Is this real????The footage?? If so this I would think would have generated ALOT more media coverage…and panic…I actually hope it is real..Not to want anyone to have suffered through this…but Its about time this is brought to attention..In my opinion they do exist..The scary part if this is true its apparent they do mean serious harm to us…a threating group of beings…That scares the hell outta me..Just curous as to if the they were acting..aka the “real dr Abby” and interviwer….well I guess only the residents of Nome know for sure…Also does anyone know what the real Dr Abby Taylor is sick with…It said she is bedridden?? ALS?? MS?? Just curious…

Hello? Are your brains connected to reality in anyway? This is a Movie made for entertainment and money. There is no Abbey Tyler or “real footage” The whole thing was filmed in Bulgaria and apart from the FBI investigation into a few missing persons, the whole plot of the movie is fiction. Check out the Journal of Alaskan psychiatry. It do’sent exist. Phone the Nome institute of Psychiatry ….they never heard of Abbey Tyler. Bona fide evidence of Alien abduction outside of deranged peoples fantasies? There isn’t any. Whatever happened to good old common sense?
