How To Lose Friends and Alienate People: Force Them to Watch the Movie of the Same Name

Kirsten Dunst, the only likeable thing about 'How to Lose Friends and Alienate People' (and even she looks like she has disdain for it)
Director Robert B. Weide's film How to Lose Friends & Alienate People is living proof that you should not base your viewing habits on the result of the opinions of others.
I took a look at this film after reading some pretty flattering reviews on Amazon and after seeing the film almost hit a 7/10 rating on the IMDB where roughly 13,000 people scored it higher than 7.
I'm going to come right out and say it: there's something seriously wrong with your brain if you like this movie.
Yes, the film did give me the odd chuckle, but overall this was one of the worst film's I've ever seen and I say that without exaggeration. It seemed like the first half of the film was Simon Pegg dancing like a complete retard whilst the last half of the film depicted Megan Fox and Kirsten Dunst somehow falling for Pegg's ugly, annoying, and unlikeable character.
I'm fairly confident that the "how to lose friends" part of the title refers to the notion that if you gather up your friends to go see this movie they may not want to remain your friend. They'll certainly not trust your movie going judgment in the future, if ever again.
As I sit here and write this I'm trying to say something nice about the film. I've read reviewers say "Megan Fox is in the film, what more do you need to know?" but then she's only in it for a maximum of probably 5-10 minutes all up, so that hardly qualifies (and if you're not that interested in a sexy woman, then it doesn't qualify at all). There's certainly no humor in this film to classify it as a comedy (and yes, I typically like British humor), so I can't say the film has any kind of "funny" worth your time. Pegg's character is unlikeable and never becomes likeable. Hmm. Nope, I can't think of a thing good about this film other than it ends.
Actually, yes I can. Kirsten Dunst. She's the only believable character in the entire film except, of course, once her feelings for Pegg's character begin to become apparent. Apart from that scenario Dunst is really good in this film, almost a beacon of light amongst a sea of shit, you could say.
There's a link below to buy How to Lose Friends and Alienate People on DVD if one of two things applies to you. One, buy it if you want to subject yourself to a painful experience that you will forever regret, or two, but it if you're a complete moron who doesn't know shit from clay. Otherwise don't waste your money.
I'm going to give this film a couple of points for the few laughs it did manage to give me (I can count them on one hand), the occasional sexy Megan Fox scene, but most of all, because Kirsten Dunst helped to make the movie palatable. Without those three things and the fact that it ends, my rating would be a flat zero.
Here's a full 4-minute clip from one of the less painful moments of the movie:
I give it two monkeys: [Rating:2/12]

Agreed. Whilst there were a few laughs I got out of it, the movie was overall mind bogglingly retarded. Bah, meh, bah.
